Myanmar Consumers Union organized “World Cancer Day 2019” at MCU Office on February 4, 2019. President of MCU, Prof. Dr. Mar Mar Kyi delivered opening remark and talked about Cancer and benefit of early detection and chances of recovery. Dr. Mar Mar Kyi also showed video about how to detect breast cancer which was prepared by Shwe Yaung Hnin Si Foundation. At World Cancer Day, a cancer survivor also shared her experience of colon cancer to the audience at MCU Office.
Moreover, MCU Secretary U Maung Maung also joined the Marching of World Cancer Day jointly held by Ministry of Health & Sports from Dagon township to Bahan township.
