MCU EC Members attended the “Acceptance Workshop on Digital Payment” conducted by Visa Myanmar in Yangon, on 10th July 2018. Members of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) also attended the workshop and joined discussion.
The objectives of the workshop are:
- Deepen the understanding of tangible benefits of digital payments and a cashless society
- Address acceptance barriers and changelings, and
- Identify opportunities to accelerate acceptance in Myanmar.
